Brother Ralph Suozzo '94
Ralph Suozzo, 46, of Bedford died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, March 4, 2018 after enjoying a sunny weeklong vacation with his family and close friends in the Caribbean.
Ralph was born in Florham Park, NJ and grew up in Bedford, NH. He treasured his entire family and loved sports, the law, advising and spending time with the wonderful network of friends he nurtured all of his life.
He savored his mother-in-law's chicken cacciatore and loved his mother's meatballs at Sunday dinners with his brothers and their families as well as any friends who showed up.
Ralph was a gifted litigator who relished defending clients of Wiggin and Nourie, and also Morrison and Mahoney, where he led the New Hampshire office in recent years.
Known to many of his close friends as ""the Tom Brady of West High School Football,"" he also enjoyed baseball and coaching, including many Bedford Little League teams. Ralph rarely missed his children's sporting events, sometimes even live-streaming them when he couldn't attend in person. He loved the outdoors, skiing and water sports, and sharing happy memories of his family at their home on Sleepers Island, where he brought Jana early in their courtship, despite her love of the Red Sox and the Pats and his devotion to the Yankees and NY Giants. Their bond was deep and true and admired deeply by all who know them. Ralph took great pleasure in hosting poker nights with his high school friends.
One of Ralph's greatest pleasures was relaxing in his beautiful yard while his children swam and played tennis, and Cooper herded people and tried to keep order. He often laughed at how much he loved the chaos of his family life. He valued deeply the tender care and help of his parents, siblings, sisters-in-law and friends during his recent illness. Ralph's love of God and his faith comforted him till his last breath. It was amazing how hard he fought every moment of his illness, never uttering a word of complaint. He lived his beautiful life with gratitude and grace and left a legacy of courage, compassion and love that transformed all who knew him.
Ralph is survived by a family he adored, his devoted wife of 20 years Jana; his loving children, Zachary, Taylor, Sydney and Kyle, all of Bedford; his parents, Joseph and Karyn (Reed) Suozzo of Bedford; a brother, Joseph Suozzo and his wife Melissa of Bedford; his brother, Randal Suozzo and wife Susan of Bedford; sister-in-law Susan Rossetti and her boyfriend Ken Kato of Middleton, MA; in-laws, Charles Rossetti and the late Jane Rossetti of Revere, MA; his sweet nieces and nephews, Peter, Isabella, Mary, Joseph and Sophia Suozzo. He also leaves behind the most amazing friends in the world.
